Most of our training time goes into the basics: grip, footwork, and the same strokes repeated until they're right. No flashy techniques until the fundamentals are in place.
It isn't exciting to watch. But it's what keeps players consistent under pressure, and it's why advanced techniques come easier later.

Badminton is one of the popular sports in Singapore's DSA (Direct School Admission) exercise, and many secondary schools admit students through badminton each year. Foundation training is built around this pathway.
We don't promise a place, but our coaches know what selectors look for and where your child still falls short.
Foundation classes have at most 3 players per coach. With fewer players, coaches have the capacity to watch every movement: whether the grip is right, whether the footwork gets there, why a shot was missed. In big classes children queue to hit; in small classes every rally gets corrected.
When Junior Squad players compete in key matches, coaches are there. They can explain between games how to play the next point, and the review afterwards is far more useful.

Shuttlecocks are provided for every session, including private classes. We bring 300+ shuttles to each session, so less time goes on picking them up and more on court time. Bring non-marking court shoes and a racket (loan rackets available for trials).

We use purposeful repetition to refine technique, improve consistency and develop better movement habits. The objective is not simply to complete more repetitions, but to make each repetition better.
Yes. Technical development is only one part of badminton.
As students progress, training incorporates court awareness, shot selection, movement patterns, tactical understanding and decision-making during match situations.
Progress depends on several factors, including the student's starting level, consistency, learning ability and practice outside training.
Regular attendance helps establish continuity, but we also encourage students to apply what they learn beyond coaching sessions.
We intentionally maintain smaller training groups to allow coaches to pay closer attention to each student.
This creates more opportunities for individual correction, feedback and meaningful repetitions instead of students spending excessive time waiting for their turn.
I initially came for badminton lessons because my husband wanted to learn, but I ended up really enjoying the sessions myself!

Every student develops at a different pace. As a guide, with consistent and regular training, students can expect to move around the court properly within 3 months.
We focus on building sustainable improvements in technique, movement, consistency and confidence rather than rushing through skills simply to show short-term progress.
We believe parents should have a clear understanding of their child's development. Feedback can be provided on areas of improvement, strengths and aspects that require further attention.

Students who demonstrate the necessary technical ability, consistency and readiness can work towards competitive badminton.
Competition is not the starting point for everyone. We believe the fundamentals and preparation should come first.

Foundation teaches the fundamentals. Junior Squad trains how to play on top of them: tactics, movement and decision-making in matches. If your child is still correcting their grip and footwork, they stay in Foundation to build a solid base before stepping up the intensity.

You can make up a missed session in another class at the same level within the term, subject to space.
Junior Squad players train for school competitions and open tournaments, with coaches attending key events.
Absolutely. Many of our Adult Group players had never had a lesson before joining.
